One, Two, Three–Breathe!

By on January 23, 2015

Now starts the heavy lifting.

The past couple months have been intense.

First there was preparing for my trip in November.

In December I set up my apartment in Bangkok, attended a Theravada Buddhist retreat in southern Thailand for half the month, dealt with renter who threatened legal action, flew my assistant to Bangkok and got her settled, began working for the Vedanta society in Thailand, and did the whole holidays thing.

January was a trip to Laos, then Cambodia. All the while I was sick, got gout in my left hand, and kept up with my writing work (even picking up some new clients).

Now, finally, I have some time to breathe. Let the real work begin; I don’t have anywhere I must go until Valentine’s Day, when I ship off to Burma for another stay in a Buddhist monastery. So now begins the heavy lifting in terms of work, and responding to all the people and crisis that were able to wait while I was on the road.

Time to breathe.
