Right now I am searching for an editor job that leverages my management and editorial talents, whether at a magazine or an online publication.

I’ve held editorial management positions at eight magazines or newspapers, and I have nine years of experience as a staff writer for publications such as Home Education Magazine, Cleveland Magazine and Crain’s Cleveland Business (yeah, I grew up near Cleveland). My online media background includes four years as a web developer, three tours as a web editor, as well as the recent design and oversight of four online magazine launches for my current employer.

Community interaction is one of my specialties as an editor, which helps me forge strong bonds both in the editorial department and among the readers. As founder of a web development consultancy, I also understand the latest new-media technologies and how they can boost both publication revenue and reader loyalty. Web 2.0 is just the beginning.
